Road to Thailand - Day 1 - Hatyai to KlongHae (2016/04/03~07)

Obviously, luck was on my side! At the moment I reached Chudchada hotel with, Boon and Nard just reached there! I was curious but later they told me that, they were so luck to meet a Thai University student (I think is a Malay guy), sat next to Boon on plane, and they had a wonderful discussion about everything and finally that boy decided to give them a drive, at the same time brought them around Songkhla area (actually they went to that University also) and had some local food like coconut ice cream. They got a free ride too!!!
Say "cheese". Well, my facial expression is not that good, I wander too.
Without wasting much more time, after helping Yan Feng to check in and get her room's key, we unloaded luggage before heading to our destination.
As usual, I was the cameraman of the day (should be whole trip LOL). The girl on service desk helped us to call a "DUTDUT" car, while we just had a chat about our fascinating trip from Johor to Hatyai airport.
Our first "DUTDUT" (80 2465)
Passing through the street, you could see many street hawkers
starting to set up their small business. Most all them are selling food
related products.

Every road, intersection are planned pretty well.
You may wander that, there are traffic jam, high speed cars and motors as well as impolite or impatient drivers, nobody is using horn. By then I concludes that "horn" is the privilege of DUTDUT drivers XD

About 5pm, we reached our first check point, Wat Ha Ya Nai (meaning of Wat from google translate - a Buddhist monastery or temple). I cant really tell you the exact location, but here have a Buddha lies down (not sleeping).
Entrance. You will notice that design of every entrance and exit
of the "Wat" is so magnificent.
The "main" temple, the monk have their prayer here. Many stray dogs
around the temple, dubbing with the prayers.
As I mentioned earlier, lies down Buddha, not sleeping Buddha!
Our second check point of the day was floating market, location around Khlong Hae, North of Hatyai. About 6.30pm, our DUTDUT reached here, and the driver went to a small pavilion, and we started looking around for food.
Location of Khlong Hae Floating Market
Baby elephant. The seller sells sugar cane stick at 40 Baht, allowing
others to take pictures with elephant. 3 idiots, hahaha.
No caption.
The atmosphere was quite lively and familiar, had a feeling of being in Malaysia too. As the products/goods were actually same as what you could find in Malaysia. Handphone accessories, T shirt, fried snack and so on. The floating market is located down the bridge, takes 5 minutes from the entrance to there. By the way, the floating market only sell food!!
Floating Market view from the bridge (6.35pm).
They make good use of shredded coconut in food/dessert collocation.
Famous coconut milk shake (25 Baht)
The level of sweetness is too high to me!
One more picture from bridge before we left (730pm)
We reached Asean Night Bazaar around 8.00pm, from North to South of Hatyai. Hawker stalls are located upstairs which separated from downstairs' clothing store. Sometime you could heard people are chatting in chinese as well!
Entrance
Big "ASEAN" logo near the bazaar
Super duper delicious tomyam!!

Seafood Salad ordered by Nard
Our conversation from the beginning she kept saying that "comes to Thai must try Tomyam, or else, you are not really come to Thai", and whatever food we suggested to her she simply rejected. Fortunately, we found and ordered a tomyam for YanFeng. Quite relief while she started eating the food on table, hahaha! The tomyam was mixed with coconut milk, and the taste was really unbelievable, plus the hot and spicy soup... kind of feeling “升仙”.

Street behind the bazaar
Nard said that recently Thai is celebrating Lantern Festival (if I not misheard). Along this street all shops are selling clothes too. I found a accessories shop and ask for xiaomi note3 tempered glass. Finally bargained with the seller to buy at 120 Baht instead of 150 Bath. After leaving bazaar, we went to 7-11 first, to buy some mineral water and snacks for breakfast.
Note that the expire date is year of 59, I wander why too!!
When we reached hotel, had a very long discussion with the driver about the fee we needed to pay. The driver stammered whenever he calculated the fee using his hand. We were totally speechless. Finally we settled it buy 960 Baht, damn it. Before say good night with Yan Feng, we appointed her to meet again for trip on next day.

Lastly, took a photo to mark the end of "Day 1".

Stay tuned...

Best friend? Once.

He was my best "new" friend, once. We met two year ago, and he was like a "big" brother to me, and we talked about anything, which I thought this condition or fate was endless, before I decided not to be that "nice" with him.
I still cannot figure out, the more the efforts i tried to help, the more he blamed on me. Seems like everything I did before go in vain. I taught, spent my time, and even my interest, finally he thought or showed me that, "you are my good friends if and only if you stand by my side, make or treat my defects as my strengths, do everything I ask you to do without any grumble....".
The saddest thing in one's life is, the one you care is not care for you, the one you help does not think or thank for your help, the one you love showing off his/her happiness with partner. Yet, I knew that every problem arises because of one self. You were betrayed because you choose to believe in someone, you fall in love because you give yourself the chance or persuade yourself to give in......
To me, I do not have a best friend, and I do not wish to be a best friend of someone, as I do not want to betray anyone. This is the life I knew earlier, and I decided to be indifferent to everything around me and anyone I met, except my family.
